Do the projects here have to be hosted or not? Delete this if you consider it as spam, but if not, please reply! |

What do you mean by "Have to be hosted"? They dont have to be hosted in order to ask for a team, they can apply for hosting at wc3c if they want to though... |

Like `Dorelian said. They ask here for a team to make something. To get hosted are mostly asked in a other way. When they ask for a team then the thread is named mostly something like this 'Project ... is searching for a team' or something like that. When they want to get hosted they will either post something like that with the word 'Hosting' in the thread name or a Admin. will be PM'd. (I am not sure if mods can help in that too) But no, not all project that are made here are going to be hosted. Hardly 5% of them or something. Many projects are not even going to be finished so it would be completely a waste of time and space to host a project that isn't going to be finished. Large projects are mostly the ones that never finish. I am working on one (a large one) and I am sure if I ask for a team many people will decline, because it is 'so' large. Many people will think it won't finish and don't join. That is the reason why I never asked for a team and am only working with 1 other. (Myself, I am a terrainer, I can do basic triggers, some spell triggers, I can voice act reasoneble well, I make my own sounds and musics and that is pretty much all, but I can come pretty far on my own. The one helping me is helping me with my grammar, trigger mistakes, beta-testing, spell checking, terrain checking and he's someone who give me help for quests even though I am a good story maker) I would like to know the restrictions for being host though. What do you need in your project to become hosted? |
