I need to, but regular alphaing doesn't do jack. Is there any way to get rid of team colored crap without having to model it off?

Hate to break it to ya, but skin editing does not do jack :) Make sure you save the alpha channel and that your art program handles alpha channels properly (myself i like PS 6.1, absolutely no trouble).

BUT there is a way to remove team colour by ediitng the .mdl. Find the bit that says "Replaceable Texture" and uhh get rid of it i think. There was a tutorial somewhere around here and its steps were something along those lines.

you can alpha out a color spot ON the skin with alpha channels, but glows have to be edited out with .mdl editing.
