WE Map(s) crash

i'm was just adding a particle emmiter to a ghoul1.mdl, converted it to ghoul1.mdx, imported to my map, set it as a custom model - WE crashed, and continues to crash when i load this map or another in the campaign( that i havnt attempted to bring this model to).

the one map in the campaign that does load has no custom units. other maps load fine.

is there a way to edit maps without WE that might be a way to fix this?

: WE seems to crash just at beginning of unit loading.

get an MPQ viewer like MPQ2k, open the map, delete the glitched model file. Should open fine in WE after taht.

thanks for the tip, i'm using winMPQ but can't see the glitched file in the list.. will try deleting other stuff i guess.

a solution ended up being deleting the ghoul.mdx from the war3.mpq. this wasnt a perm solution so reinstalling wc3 + tft and patching to 1.13b fixed it.

i guess i somehow overwrote the ghoul.mdx ( though, im sure i used ghoul1.mdx)
