Map editor woes

Here's an odd question:
I have a map I've been working on and I'd like to continue working on it during my spare time while at work. The computers there have no 3D video card, but on one of them I CAN get warcraft itself to run and play. My question is, does anyone know how I might be able to get the editor to run? I was thinking that if Warcraft runs, then the editor ought to also. Could there be some command-line parameters I could use when starting the editor?

Also, I don't want to use UMSWE -- patches always break its produts it seems to me.

Try buying more ram that should work. My We works fine on my lap top (No Vido card:nono: ) But I have a gig of ram and it runs fine!

I think part of the problem may be that I'm unable to use the scaled-down video settings at work that I can use when running the game. If there was some way to configure the editor to run with lower video settings on startup (such as parameters in a shortcut or batch file) that would work?

maybe try running the exe from command prompt ( dos box) with /h switch to see if there are any useful switches documented.
