add team colors

i am using 7.0 photoshop. i want to add team colors but it always comes out as a hole because i used deleting. how do i put team colors on a person. if you are going to say use alpha channel, tell me what to do with the alpha channel.

go to the Skinning FAQ and find the part that says how do I remove team color. Read that and you will then understand how to add team color.
