Thunderbluff by Med. MapGuy

Hey, this is Med. MapGuy of warcraftiii.net. I just wanna show this shot of Thunderbluff that I created for my RPG Baine. After playing Act II and III, it got me thinking into making something like that... Please give me suggestions on how to improve! this is a pretty bare shot, I know... Help!

hmm, this is kinda in the wrong forum. It should be in map developement or the terrain forum. Anyways, it looks pretty good, maybe you should add a few environmental doodads. Also use the raise tool underneath some of the buildings and the lower tool on the pathways.:D

i think you should also add some more spirit lodges...

Add bit of height variation on the area at the top of the cliffs. Also add a few more decorations and spirit lodges.

Already taken care off. The weird thing is that some screenshots depicted Thunderbluff of being more lush and greener... Oh well.

Hey hey! What's up! I remember you, Med. I tried to intervene in that horrendous flame war on your Starcraft map. The name's Bejoty.

Anyways, the screen looks damn good from my point of view. Throw in a bunch of tauren and it'll look great. Drop a couple hundred desert shrubs and what have you and it'll be one class act.

There is something I like about that scree-shoot, think its the atmosphere. maybe the water around the city could do with some more details. ;)

spirit lodges!! if i were u i would make a spirit lodge without pathing so you could mix it with the tauren totems and the tauren tents. I can already see some intresting ideas arising from that.
