Guest | Umm, sorry if this has been asked before, but i've searched for a while and found nothing yet, i was wondering about mpq2k, i have it, and i can run it, well, it's like this right, when i started MS-DOS, the thing says C:\WINDOWS>, well, i typed C: and it changes to C:, well, i put it in ProgramFiles\WarcraftIII\MPQ2k, and when i typed the place, it doesn't work, something about bad command or file name ( I typed C:\ProgramFiles\WarcraftIII\MPQ2k>mpq2k.exe, and then i put it in C:\ ( Right inside C:\ ) and i can run it, but whenever i tried to... "list" files the F-what for what tutorial like came out as usual, still nothing that is listed, i'm aware that there's a txt file placed after it, but nothing is inside, just something like... Mo'PaQ 2000 1.00 Copyright (c) 2000 Justin Olbrantz(Quantam) The official client of the MPQ API Library v1.02 by A. Lelikov, Moscow, that's all, weird, can someone please help me, just, if you don't mind, just tell me the command line to extract the campaign maps, or just give me the original campaign maps, and tell me how to insert it back after i've modified it, please, i really need it :( |

Guest | WinMPQ seems to crash often and ruin my mpqs (nearly lost a map using it). As for the DOS command, use quotations: cd "program files\warcraft iii\mpq2k". |

I use techmpq. If you want to use MPQ2k, use the shortcut method described in Cookie's Custom MDX/Skin tutorial. |
