Two skins on 1 unit

Allright im making a map (no need to go intro details) i have a neat skin for villagermale1 and villagermale. The problem is that i would like to keep the old villagers skin + my two news. I have tried to make the costum units 'n' suff but nothing seems to work.

if u want u can add a copy of the villagermodel into
your map and change the path of the skin in the model
to the path of your new cutom skin,
and then make cutom units with the copy model.

what I would do is just edit the .mdl, its simple enough. Just extract the villagermale.mdx and convert it to .mdl. open up the .mdl and close to the top is where they show which texture files were used. Go find where the skin is and change the path to be something different. Save your .mdl, convert it back to .mdx, import it into your map, and import your skin in the path that you defined in the .mdl. Then make a custom unit that uses that model, and there you have it.

I made a trigger-skill who made all nearby friendly units invisible for 20-50 seconds. Now when i bug test the map on battle.net, many players say "the stealth doesnt work, i become visible without doing anything!".

I checked out the problem, and noticed that when the units auto aquire a target, the become visible (i added a trigger to make them invisible of they attack). Then i noticed the "unit - set aquacition range". I set it to "0" while they were invisibile, but they still attack everything they see, archers are the most annoying.

Anyway to cause units to NOT attack while invisible, but still be able to "A-click" on ground/units?

Here are some modified MDLs pointing to units\Critters\VillagerMan\VillagerMale2.blp and units\Critters\VillagerMan\VillagerMale3.blp . Just set these to be the model and import your skins to those paths.

okay then, here it is. i am assuming that you have frozen throne.
First thing you do is extract every single villager file from the mdx. Then you rename all of them to villager2 or whatever and then import them using the inport manager. Dont change the paths. Now make a custom unit and edit its model file---- select your villager2.mdx and use that. when u play the game it should work. if you dont get it, put the map[ up for download or something and i will fix it.
