I played DoRP or wutever its called. They took weapons from units and they allow you to place the weapon on whatever unit you want. Like For example, the pitlord weapon. You could make your unit (lets say a villager man) use the pit lord's weapon. How do i get these weapons? Are they done by skinning or triggers? |

I think they made models of the weapons and then played a SFX on the units right or left hand. |

Yes, that's exactly what they did. Unfortunately, you need the mdx for the weapon model. You can get a few sample weapons at www.campaigncreations.org. Try there. |

ah, h0nki that would work great except that the weapons used by units are actually apart of the unit model, so there's no standalone model for every unit's weapons. This means you'd need to get models of units without their weapons and models of them with their weapons, you can easily use skinning with alpha channels to wipe out the weapons of units but to get your own weapons to add you should follow Eriond's link. |
