That's exactly the style of guy I enjoy. If you'd like, I could comment on a couple of the bits that look just slightly off to me, but they're so minor they're hardly worth mentioning. Overall, in theme and execution, a picture very much after my own heart. ^^

Orin, in overall line and coloring skills combined, I think you're likely the best artist here. Some are better at line, some better at coloring, but combined I think you have the best balance I've seen. Excellent so far. Only thing I can think of is to make the abdominal shading and tinting a little more balanced.

there is only one joint on his finger. Thats it though, just bend those fingers.

Sure. =) The only things I noticed were, as mentioned above, the fingers could probably use another obvious joint, and the profile of the face is just a bit sharp around the nose. Were I drawing it, I would move the mouth/chin area of the face forward just a bit, so that the face doesn't form a < from the nose (if that makes sense).

In other words, I think the line of the lower half of the face could stand to be a little bit more vertical, but the forehead is at the perfect angle where it is.

See? Told you it's incredibly minor - perhaps even just a difference in styles. Otherwise I'm just waiting eagerly for the wings and background. =) Keep up the great work~

The only real problem I see is your feet. They seem too long and bulky near the toes. To fix this, try drawing the basic structure of the foot first, like a circle for the heel, etc. and then basing your shoe off of that structure. And I think your sketch is the older one because I remember that your finished sketch had the left wing in front of the shoulder pad and sword hand.

what proggy is it colored in?

no offense, the pic + color are really good, but, the line is just anime with a few more details added, and the coloring could be achieved in a matter of minutes using PS, nice work tho, for most, its the end result that counts :D

e.g I did this drawing by hand and colored it in PS in about 10 - 15 mins, Zoom (requires log in)
