Say i wanted to use jaina's staff on like a lich. I would need to use 3dsm to manually remove the model from the staff and save that seperately. I do know how to convert file types when its nessesary but i thought that the actual weapons on the models were seperate .mdx's themselves. Can anyone put some sense in my brain. Thanx. :D oH yeah 1 more thing. I downloaded wings and i wanna put em on a hero. What do i have to type in where it says attach special effect to. I know how to attach it on the right and left hand. What is it back? thx again! |

it is alot easier to just geoset merge the weapon into the model. But ofcourse if you have one model that is going to use multiple weapons then separate weapon models attached by triggers are best. A guy explained geoset merging somewhere, don't remember where though... And i am too lazy to explain the whole thing when someone already did so wait and i'll look for it and post the link here.
