Upgrade/Reserch Help!!!

Anyway you can go around so you can upgrade, like a swordsmans weapon without wood?
And of use of the normal editor!

correct me if im wrong but i dont think u can edit researches i dont think u can do that yet maybe u can later im not sure and even the Blink Editor cant do that

just have it sell a unit then when that unit comes remove it and give them the upgrade

What Event should I use?
I´ve looked through all the event catagories but none seem to do that.

Buy the way: I´m trying to make a upgrade to all the playable units for all four races = at least 30 units and 30 upgrades each of the units plzzzzzz tell me it´s possible!!
