I dont think you can make it give Mana. Im pretty sure you cant change what an abilty's effect aka Damage/Give Mana/Etc is. I wish some one would proe me wrong, for it would be great to beable to.
i don't think so, siphon mana works on the premise that there already is some mana in the target unit.
I'd say do something off raise skeleton (or whatever it's called here) create a dummy unit. When dummy unit enters game, remove dummy unit and give X mana to casting unit.
make a trigger for when a unit uses a dummy skill based off of canabalize it checks to see if it works or if there's a corpse nearby, then run another trigger that every 1 second you get x mana.
