Chapter 1
Player Heroes:

Kenji: Main Hero, ShadowSlayer Main element Earth. Unit, Arthas (Hammer)

Ryuujin: Mercenary, Blademaster Main element Fire. Unit, Demon Hunter

Senshu: Wizard, Windwalker Main element Water. Unit, Human Witchdoctor

Sha’la: Ranger, Elf Archer Main element Forest. Unit, Slyvanus Windrunner

Other Characters:
Saku: Kenji’s Father

Kenji’s background:
20 years ago the Dark King and his minions had plagued the land with their evil deeds. Saku, a powerful knight, made it his mission to rid the land of this darkness. His valiant effort was driving the dark forces away, until trickery and deceit defeated his cause. The Prime Minister of the Damned kidnapped Saku’s son (Kenji). Blah blah…Saku sells his soul and turns evil. Senshu, his close friend, rescues the son, but they get separated during the rescue.

Kenji is found and raised by a kind woman in a small village. She sort of knows about Kenji’s father, but tells him nothing of his past. Kenji has become a good warrior, but a feeling deep inside tells him that there’s something he needs to discover about his past. Seeking adventure and maybe answers, he leaves his home town…

Ryuujin’s background:
Ryuujin’s town was attacked by the dark forces when he was a child. Saku and some allied forces came to help drive back the invasion. But during the battle, Ryuujin’s family was killed by the dark forces. He managed to run away while Saku held back the enemy.

Ryuujin had to grow up pretty much on his own. Learns not to trust many people and has a hatred for dark forces who killed his family. He wanted to join the warrior (Saku) to fight against the dark forces, but learns that Saku became possessed by evil soon after saving his town. He becomes a skilled fighter with the blade and makes his living by fighting for whoever will pay him.

Senshu’s background:
He has the potential to be a great wizard, but often goofs up his spells due to lack of proper training. He fought along side Saku against the dark forces for many years. He’s wounded while rescuing Kenji from the dark forces, but manages to escape. He’s been trying to find Kenji ever since, because he wants to tell him about this father and the sword that can help defeat the Minister. Senshu doesn’t know his potential yet. He can become very powerful when he finds guidance and magical items/books.

Sha’la’s background:
She was part of a great elven clan that ruled the forests. When she was a child, many of the clan’s villages fought hard against the dark forces, but soon where overrun by the evil minions of the dark. Her mother managed to hide her, when their village was attack. Sha’la was undetected, but her mother was captured by dark forces and taken away. She’s not sure what happened to her mother, but aims to find out.

Opening Scenes
Each player will have their own opening cinematic…

Kenji
Opening Scene:
Kenji is fighting a friend in a mock sword fight at his town. They stop and talk. His friend asks if something is troubling him, because Kenji is not fighting well. Kenji says yes there’s something troubling him. He’s been thinking of leaving the town. He feels the need to seek adventure and answer some questions that have been troubling him.

Next Scene:
Kenji has a quick talk with his mom. He plans to leave the town. His mom says she has expected this day….Kenji walks off to start his journey.

Next Scene:
Cinematic ends. He’s by a camp fire, says he’s been traveling a long time and hopes to find a town soon….Player can follow a path that leads to a town.

Ryuujin
Opening Scene:
He’s a child in his town talking to his father, who says to be careful because enemy forces have been detected in the area. Town is attacked, family is killed, but Saku rides in to help. He yells at little Ryuujin to ran away. Ryuujin starts running while a battle takes place in the background.

Next Scene:
It’s 20 yrs later. He’s in a small town looking for work and hears that a nearby town is hiring mercenaries for protection against bandits, so he heads off.

Senshu
Opening Scene:
He’s running with little Kenji through the forest. Chasing them is evil Saku. Senshu tells Kenji to keep running while he tries to hold off Saku. Kenji manages to escape, while Senshu is wounded. Senshu manages to escape using some spell.

Sha’la
Opening Scene:
She’s a child in a small elven village. Dark forces start to attack. Her mother and other elves start fighting off the dark forces. She casts a spell on little Sha’la to turn her invisible so she can escape. Elves are captured, but Sha’la is undetected and runs off.

Next Scene:
10 years later. She has just got off a boat by the shoreline. She thanks the boat crew for providing passage. They tell her to be careful, the lands beyond are dangerous. She says she must find out what happened to her mother and other elves and runs off.
