Restoration of Staria (Not sure where to ask this)

Does anyone know anything about this map, or if it is hosted somwhere? It's a fantastic piece of work and I have much to say about it, but unfortunately it lags SO HORRIBLY I can't even bear to load it up again to try to find some contact information. (Map is protected so I can't just look in the editor either.)

If anyone has some information about it, I'd appreciate it. I didn't recognize the names of ANY of the testers on the loading screen (Which I got to look at for an extremely long time).

yeah i have the same problem. The author gives his email somewhere near the beginning and the next time i see it I'll write it down and post it up here. I turned all my video options to low and the resolution down to the lowest setting and it lets me play with significant lag until I'm about level 12-13 (this is maybe 1.5 hours) on single player. I hacked the map and it seems that there are 2500 preplaced units which is like waaaaaaaaaaaay too many and is likely a big cause of lag, as well as the 13k doodads too many of which are trees (I heard that they have a high poly count and are harder on memory than other things).

This map is AWESOME from what i can tell but in it's current state is unplayable because it's sooooooo bloated.

Will write back later as well as contact the author about making it less laggy and playable because this looks like the greatest RPG to date.

I tried to play it again but my comp locked up so I gave up and rebooted. It really is an awesome map though, hopefully the lag issue can be fixed without killing the fun factor.

Where can I get this? Is it mulitplayer?

it is multiplayer but i don't think it would ever survive the loading process. Both times i tried to play it with other people it lagged even more then usual and server split (well booted me and my friend out of the game). That's a biproduct of having a zillion units.

I dled it off battlenet (someone was sharing) so i don't know where you could get it. However I'm sure once the damn thing works and is actually playable it will become quite popular and you'll be able to get it off battlenet or various websites.
