WC3C Magazine Needs Staff

The warcraft 3 campaigns official magazine is in desperate need of help. A holiday issue was not released due to lack of staff. There is a Holiday magazine almost ready to publish, but it is now too late. That's why we ask you as a community to help us make the greatest issue ever this January, using content from the holiday issue, and adding allot more content, to make this magazine a success.

We are currently in need of very skilled writers, who would write articles about our upcoming mods and general WC3 issues, and two or three generally skilled graphic artists to help us create the layouts, banners, logos, and general WC3 related art. We will also be in need of couriers to gather information and pass it on to the writers.

We will be holding a monthly competition on best concept art, and after the winner has been chosen, the concept art will have to be modeled, after the winner has been chosen the model will be skinned. Each competition within the month will last a week or so, starting with the concept art competition next week.

All concept artists have to provide front and side views of the concept. All modelers MUST unwrap their models before submission (models will also be judged on how well the model wraps.)

I think I could write an article or two for you guys. I have pretty good writing skills. PM me.

I would gladly write some things for the magazine. I think I can write articles rather well and I am a good judge (in my opinion).

what are the "critères"

does the mod has to be near completion or no if so... count us out.

And just one more rule...You can't review a mod you are working on, and you absolutley may not ask people to review it, if they choose to, that's fine, but asking people to review your mod is not a real good way of getting on the magazine.

And you can do an article about Zelda Open Rpg.

well, has anyone done a sort of, "so your new to wc3c, heres whats happenning with the FPS MOD" with a history of the proj. and pics, like a special edition, on the mod that has revolutionised the format of Wc3 gameplay, Id be up to the challenge, and I would also be happy to make a mascot for the Mag :foot:

well i'd love to write for you, what do you want the example to be? An article we've written? A story? A history?

You could just make a section with sent in articles.

I have the art skills. I have the story writing skills. I think i can be up to the job. Aim, MSN me, E-mail, PM. Whatever. Ill be there. If you need art, just go around looking at sigs until you find one that says my name in the credits! Tere arent too many, but you can find them.

Just to clear a few things up. You will be writing articles in rtf format (every writing program is able to run this format) then me doomIII and someone else will put everything together in a beautiful bundle :D.

Phoenix: Just see if you can find any sort of writing examples. I don't need book writers working for this magazine, i just need someone who can create a well written article. So anything will do

TrueNeutral: You are thinking of the letters part of the magazine. We will have people send in letters on their opinion of whatever. And then the best letters will be picked, and they will be put in another section.
