As subject: How do you create a unit that cant be selected?

I want it to be able to attack, so it's gotta be a unit :)

Give it the 'Aloc' ability using a 'Unit - Add Ability' trigger. The ability has an actual name now in 1.13, but I don't know it. Something involving locust, I'd think.

Just curious, is there anyway to make a unit unselecable without using 'locust'. The side affects of locust are a complate pain sometimes, and I was hoping that there was some way to make a unit un selectable without having to give it no collision and invulnerablility. Thanks

(Oh, and I know that one could just use the trigger Player selects unit; Delesect unit, but that looks kinda unprofessional, because one could still issue orders to that unit.)

Yeah, I checked out that thread a long time ago, but haven't looked into it recently, so thanks for re-bringing it to my attention.
