Some oldies for now... These are some I drew then tried my hand in PS 7.0 on them. I did the B&W drawing of spock for this when I was 18 I think (I learned my portraits drawing the Vallejo covers to Star Trek). Its the first thing I ever PSed. ![]() A drawing of mine for a character in a long-running, so far 400 page novel I work on on and off (and I'm currently so interested in writing the backstory I've left it for the past 6 months). Same deal, drew him in B&W and PSed him. ![]() New years 2000 I sat down and drew this from a book in ink on paper and it became the 3rd of my PS 'victims': ![]() The rest of these are B&W images I got from Hoffman, Frazetta and Coop because I wanted to learn how to paint in PS and I didn't have a scanner at the time: Mike Hoffman; I spent maybe 2 hours coloring him: ![]() Art from Coop; only spent about 20 minutes coloring her: ![]() Frazetta (between frank frazetta and Gerald Brom i find that they are my favorit artists). Same deal, except I spent maybe an hour tops on both of them. I didn't color them adjusting the color balance and whatnot, I replaced all of it down to the lines: ![]() Oh and... Howdy from the great state of Georgia y'all. First post. |

Me likey:foot: Your style has an old school comic book style. I don't know the other artist you mentioned, but I love Frazetta. It's amazing how his comic book style looks so realistic. |
