Color Triangle

Ok the color triangle here is for use in an RP. I'm still working on it but here's a pic to show you an example.

The idea is set the tint of the units by telling them to move onto the appropriote beacon. No matter where they are, they will change color, as long as they're TOLD to go there :) This should make getting common colors a little easier.

There are a total of 24 beacons atm.

Maybe instead you could just do the normal type thing (tint ###-###-###), but make it so if the guy types tint blue for example it tints the unit to that color. That way you don't need to move the unit into one of the beacons.

What about for the people who dont know the tintings? Im not saying thats a good idea, im just saying. That would be N00B proof.

How about having three "sliders" consisting of units locked into vertical tracks... the units' Y coordinates would be interpreted into percentages and then the three percentages would be applied as RGB values to all units in a target region. Meanwhile you could also display the percentages above the sliders using floating texts.

The problem is not how to pick the RGB, but that many people have no clue about color spaces, so they would have to mess around for 15 minutes to pick a color. What you could do is have the color triangle and then a few more circles in the center of it that are grayscale, and make it pick the brightness of the color you have picked (like picking 50% gray will make your color 50% bright)
