Well theres a song that i'm gonna put in a map BUT ITS NOT GONNA BE A mp3...

can some one tell me how to convert it to a midi?

Well I am not even sure WC3 can handle midi files. Not to mention they sound like crap. Also it is next to impossible to make an mp3 a midi. If you want to find out why you might want to read the part about "What is MIDI?" In the compose tutorial that is stickied.

Good News Warcraft can handle Midis get War3Config and turn suport on for midis.:ggani: Midis arnt crap Midis are better quality than mp3 just they have no words just music. 8))

I heard that the people using the map need warcraft config to hear the MIDI...

but i need the mp3 to be a MIDI first....

Never heard of the first one but goto google and search for a converter its really rare to find a free mp3 to midi or the other way around but its worth a shot :D

As much as I love this discussion you should realize what MIDI is, like I said look it up. THEN ask a question that will not need to be asked if you read that bit in the tutorial.

Yes i know forget about midis i already converter one... and the voices don't work..

I could have told you that voices don't work, that was all in the basic explanation. Your just being a bit "Gimme this" "Gimme that" on us here.

Anyways to reduce a mp3 in size you have to reduce the quality by re-encoding it at a lower bitrate.

I just told you, open mp3 in sound edit program and save it using a lower bitrate.

I use Cooledit and sometimes Soundforge.

What do you mean like Windows media? You mean the format? No it is not like that.
