does anyone know how? I need this explicitly for units. I.E. if a barracks can train a footman i don't want it to show the footman icon. |

Go to the ojbect editor -- Go to the units tab. Find the human barracks (Under human -- Melee -- Buildings) Now where it says Units trained, delete the footman. |

Do you mean replace his icon? I don't think it's possible to remove his icon without replacing it and still be able to train him... >.> Unless of course a player types in -footman while the barracks is selected, than you can tell the building to begin training a footman. |

This works a slightly different way, but I'm not sure why. Just save the icon as a .tga, import, and use that as the art. The problem is that there's still a tooltip box, even if you delete the tooltip, and then when you select multiple guys and at least one footman, you've just got an empty box. This works best wtih spell icons. |

How about giving it to a computer that shares unit control or something and make it so the computer researches it but not the player |
