Here it is...After thriving to get a paint program which surpassed MS-Paint, I ended up with Photoshop Elements and made my very first skin. It is still WIP, but I wanted to know if there are any ways I could make it better, and such. |

What is it? his armor looks really cartoony..maybe if somehow you could give it a ''shine''besides that i think it looks nice even for WIP |

hmmm... he looks very strange especially the face. did you have an idea when you skinnned it or did you just make it up as you went along? though i dont see why this model couldnt be something much more exciting with some more work put into it. not bad for your first model though. |

Open up warcraft 3. Go to options and turn everything on high. You have the models on medium thats why it looks so weird. |

I intended this to be some sort of 'Stone Warrior'. The red & orange lines on his armour are intended to be magma. |

Very nice actually. The midsection is pretty weak, though. I think you might be able to make him look better if you try to lightly shade the stone parts surrounding the magma in a color similar to the magma, so it looks like it's glowing. Kinda hard to do but it might look good, if you can make it work with the 3D structure of the model, so the light seems to fall realistically. |

Here is what I got up to now. I added some white around the stone plates in his body to try to show illumination, but i'm not sure it's succesful. I did like the way the face came out though, and I'm going to try to reproduce that effect on the whole body. I added blood onto his axe, but when I tried to remove the skirt-like thing grunts have the green spot between his legs came up (I am going to try and fix that). Any other suggestions for improvements? |

Face is better. The lava/rocks aren't shaded enough and thats why they still look cartoony. Cartooney...w/e. O/w good job so far for a first skin. :ggani: |
