I heard that this adds like 12% map size :nono: |

It only adds ~12% to the map's size if you store a backup. If you don't store a backup it will reduce the map's size. |

Ok, but will it ask me if i DONT wanna store it... because i can just save 2 maps with different file names and only let the unbacked up one so it don't go up in size to the public...? |

While exprotect doesnt have the compression options that heavy locker offers, ever since i sent ext that map demonstrating the obfuscate script error i've not had a single reccurence of the problem. And he fixed in it like 1 day when i sent him that bugged map too! Edit: Die double post DIE! |

so your complimenting extprotector? |

If you'd download ExtProtect and test it out you'd figure it out pretty fast most likely. It is meant to be very simple - it just has 4 boxes, two for file names(one for the map to protect and one for what to name the protected map) and two for password. If you leave the password boxes empty, it won't make a backup. I think he is complimenting the fact that I fix bugs asap when I get a map showing the error (most people won't send me their map unprotected when it has problems being protected, but when they do I always fix the error as soon as I can) |
