What is the best technique for MPQ packing a mod/campaign?

I have noticed that some mods/campaigns ship their stuff in a MPQ Archive (war3patch.mpq) while others ship their's in Custom Campaign files (.w3n).

What are the Pros and Con's for each? I am just curious as it pertains to how we will distribute ours when it is done, and I just wanted to know what people thought.

Is there more options for what you can import into one or is it just a matter of personal choice?

Where can I find a tutorial on how to use a file on several file by putting it in a mpq. The keys of destiny use this to save space but I dont want to bother the team if theres already a tutorial somewhere.
(I think the "inside the mpq" tutorial doesnt explain how to to it)

A campaign file is actually just an mpq file with a different extension (you can open campaign files with WinMPQ, just like an MPQ file), so there's no real difference.

Imho the best way is MPQDraft

Create a executable MPQ archive where you can put all the files in (that are needed for all of your maps)
If the player wants to play your campaign he just has to start Warcraft with your exe

Hey Pitzer, can you get a link up for MPQDraft? I've been meaning to toy around with it for a while now :)
