ToB is teh pwn...

the only reason that i make this thread is to thank the people that made tides of blood! i know some of you are on these forums somewhere.. so if u see this.. THNX for making a decent eaon for tft. i think when this is finished it might just become that dota beater that i've been waiting for...

okay i just have to make some omparences to dota cuz well... dota is the best roc eaon and tob will probubly own tft so.. the link there is not so hard.. just some thingies though
-less item and cash balance then dota, but eh its a beta such things take time!
-less heros then dota...
-i think the map is just a lil 2 big... but u fixed that with a teleporting sappelin
+better tileset then dota
+custom skins! and nice ones to! they own!
+what i've seen so far the heros are pretty well balanced, allthough dota is still a bit better there i think...
+TOTAL OWNAGE ON CUSTUM SKILLS!! GOD THEY ARE SPECTACULAIR!
+takes long to complete.. wich i think is good but many dunt and then they leave before the end... KILL ALL LEAVERS!!

i've only played it like 3 times now... and i've played dota like.. uncountable amounts... but i'd say tob is very good for a beta!

Actually ToB has better layout and item balance. There is no item cheese of any kind in ToB, and they actually have a potion system that works. It is a very well made and good map, but it gets tiring after a bit to just play as the same heros. Ah well same as all things... I wish my scanner would work. Then I would totally post some pictures. Sadly this is not the case with my missing wire thingy on my scanner. Bleh.

TFG hasn't been through as much testing as TOB and you get more hero choices...

Plus the fact that almost everyone has gotten bored of TOB... and TFG is the best option right now.

I used to post there, it was worthwhile when they updated a lot, so there was a lot to talk about, but until the next vers, ill hold off.

As one of the 1000 Tides of Blood cultists, I believe you should check out the site. (www.tidesofblood.com) The people are great, and all of the new info on the map is available there. By the way, please note that the map is only partially completed.

I think TFG is the worst thing out there. Dota original actually outstrips it by quite a bit. You see, the map takes forever to load, forever to level up, and the weapons arent at all as fun as ToB weapons. There are too many inbalances, and overall it is not very amusing to play. It takes literally FOREVER to complete a game. ToB is a lot faster and efficient. Although they should add more heros soon to spice it up a bit.
