If you wanted to replace the footman skin for ALL footman, then what you would do would be import your skin into your map, then change its path to be EXACTLY the path of the one in the war3 mpq. And then all your footmen would use that skin instead.

Well. then I have a question. I made a skin for the undead arthas, turned it to a blp, imported, used the custom path units\undead\evilarthas\undeadarthas, and then I make a custom undead arthas unit, put the skin in model file and it doesn´t work, what is wrong?

What do you mean "Put the skin in the model file"

I know what he means but i dont think you have to. He put the file into the object editor units model path. but i think you just are suppost to change the path in the import manager. Im not sure ive been trying to figure it out to. If you figure it out post a reply.

All you do is change the path (check use custom path) of the file in the import manager to the path of the skin, NO changes to the model, or anything else is needed.

Make sure you have the right extension for the file as well. In your previous reply you left out the extension.

Then for the undead Arthas all I needed to do was to write "Units\Undead\EvilArthas\UndeadArthas" in the custom path and the skin should appear inthe game?
