Finding Neo
Yea, any1 who says the LOTR Genre is a dead horse can go screw a tree. Its that nobody ever makes a good version of it.
So anyway heres an over head screen shot of an early version.

I bought the LOTR Atlas, so whoever says it dosnt look like the white city thinkgs that everything the Movies did was in the books and can go actualy read them for once.

Anyway! On a brighter side heres the picture, and ill be adding more later. Also this is an early version, since then ive made it bigger and more detailed, i just dont have a pic atm.

I made a quick test map for this city - trying to show how huge it must be...

One suggestion if you've not considered it already: Make lots of alleyways, bridges - and general features in each level of the city...

If you intend to have fighting there you have to make the levels interesting places to defend/attack...

here's a pic from the wall behind the main gate - the gallant sheep of gondor are doing their bit... (just a little pic to showcase oinkerwinkle's excellent mumakil [requests forum])

Look mate, that doesn't look like Minas Tirith however you turn it; in fact it doesn't even look like a city.
THIS is what a city looks like:

Oh, sure it's not Minas Tirith; but it is a city. Cities aren't walls with a few lines of houses propped up against them!

Finding Neo - Wow, quite nice. Where did you get the Ephant model from? O_O

However, what I saw in the film was more fighting at the gates and lower city, and the fields outside, than all over. I was going to suggest removing most of it to give yourself some space, but you're already using a large map.

Berry2K's right about a city, but Minas Tirith is very tricky to do.

The one with the Mumakil wasnt mine, but i am also using that modle.

Btw, ur mini map is all wrong, and there is NO river in minas tirith, it just runs to its south then runs north from there to the city's west side.

If you mean mine - it's not finished, that's just where I hadn't raised the terrain out the water yet.

I just did that out of interest, emulating the movie version - You've got to make compromises in the interest of prospective gameplay...

I like what I've got so I might finish up - plus I think I figured out the best way to make this huge multiplayer map -

In my version I've got garrisoned towers, properly opening/closing gates, realistically functioning siege towers - I'll elaborate if you want...

Berry's isn't a map of Minas Tirith. It's just a city.
