DBZ: World Tournament

Ok yah... after my long vacation from Wc3..(3 months!) iv decided to put my skills to the real test by making the first ever W3c map based from the PS2 game... DragonBall Z: Budokai 2.... yes it will be very alike it... i mean VERY 2 when i say it!... ok now i am working on a pre-beta.... will only have 2 chars... (Goku.... and Kid Buu).... and custom spells of couse... based from the game.... and the macth up to battle will be the same also... i will post screenies soon!.... When u use the skill "Super Kamehameha Wave" it goes into cinematic mode... just like in the game.... and goes up close and hears him charge and crap....then he will shoot it.... this is what it will feture...





DBZ World Tournament Pre-Beta

- 2 Charaters... Goku and Kid Buu

- Macth up system.... randomly selected who fights who

- Skills that now feture cinematics so gives u that cool feeling

- Everytime you beat a opponent you will gain 1 level....

- Will most likely have custom skins....

- Cannot garentee i will add custom models tho...

- Will be really realistic with skills.... when u use a "Ultimate Attack" Such as a "Super Kamehameha Wave" you will be instantly transported to a corner of the ring and float up in the air... and go into cinematic mode and say " KA ME HA ME HA!!!" then shoot the wave... and while the Wave moves the camera follows it... so giving you that great feeling:D

- TOTALLY custom spells.... Mostly will be Trigger based....

- Custom buy able items... such as "Sayian Spirit"... "Training Vest" ... "Training Armor".... " Z Sword" and much more....




Well that will be all for now... look forward to some screen shots....


NOTE: I am only making the Pre-beta... with 2 charaters and such to see if people will like it and if i should go on with the FULL VERSION....

Blech. I'm not a Dragonball fan, frankly I find it insipid - but even if I was the world's biggest fan, why would I want to play a WC3 version of a PS2 game? Essentially, you're just making a poor-man's port of a game that's already out there.

Try to do something original. There's got to be a few drops of blood in DBZ to squeeze out something novel; can you make something based on the world that feels more original?

Heh thx alot... it looks like theres someone who acturally apriciates what i am trying to acomplish here :)... its comming along nicely... although have to add ALOT of triggers for spells and such....

Okay ****... i am having some PC problems... and its really bad i am at a freinds house ATM... Dunno whats wrong with my PC but il try to get it fixed ASAP.... so the map is posponed for a while... Give me until the 16th.... whicth is on a Friday to get it fixed.... il try and get some screenies.... if i can try and transfer maps from my PC to my freinds....
