Wondering if this could be done....

I was wondering if it were possible to trigger a skill that would work as a "Knockdown" ability.

The skill would work like this: You attack someone useing Knockdown, and upon useing it, the unit would take damage, be stunned for X seconds and at the same time, the attacked units death animation would be played.

Obviously, this would only work with organic ground units like Grunts, Ogres, Footmen... etc, but it wouldn't work with flying units (dragons, zeppelins, wyverns) or mechanical units (catapult).

I might consider useing this in an upcoming Single-player Open RPG I'm considering making. Any help is requested :)

Thanks in advance

Yes, it's possible... base it off storm bolt, set damage and stun and here's the trigger

Unit - Unit Finished Casting a Spell

Conditions - (Ability Being Cast) equal to Knockdown and (Target unit of ability being cast) is organic equal to True

Actions - Animations - Play (Target unit of ability being cast)'s death animation
Wait (Level of Knockdown on casting unit)
Reset (Target unit of ability being cast)'s animations.

That'll work for anything that's not mechanichal, and it'll wait for 1 second per level.

When you play the units death animation, they let out a cry and bleed alot...right? How can you fix that part of it? Im curious too.

consider using the fighter skills i posted on a tutorial map (how to activate/deactivate passive skills), since this sounds like a DnD map, the fighter has whirlwind, power and expertise attacks + cripplong strike (something of my own)
i'm doing all basic DnD classes....
