Whenever I try to download skins or models from this site I will click on the link that downloads them and it will take me to a page with tons of crazy characters and stuff. When I right click and choose "download link to disk" it downloads "files.php" and it will download the downloads webpage. This only happens with certain downloads and it only happens at this site. I don't know if it matters, but I'm using a Mac with Camino. However, I've tried this in Internet Explorer and Mozilla as well and it does the same thing. So hopefully this isn't because I'm using a Mac.:( |

It does actally sound like the file is being opened in IE as text (hence the page of weird characters) and it being saved as files.php sounds like your setup isn't downloading files properly. I'm not sure what to suggest though - only to keep trying different applications and file saving methods in your OS. |

reinstall your OS and IE explorer, it should work. I had the same problem (and a few others) and that fixed it. |
