Who Has Done Blizzard Tut With 3dsmax4?

Hi, this a huge time i'm blocked at the blizzard tut (wow...). At the step where it's say how to animate, i see at the end the death animation:
they speak about a visibility controller we must add and we must make sure it is an on\off controller type. Well i read this 3 weeks ago.......
I tried everything and if nobody answer me i'm gonna find a tree to hang myself: HOW TO ADD A VISIBILITY TRACK WICH IS AN ON\OFF CONTROLLER TYPE? plzzzzz answer, i insist that it is 3dsmax 4, cause before people said me: oooh duchmol this is easy just look at the picture... but it was 3dsmax 5 with menu I don't have....

so i asked in a other tread can someone please just make a detailed 3dsmax4 warcraft tutorial for animating?

Well i rephrase: I'm at the end of the 6th step of blizzard'd tutorial (the one whereu make a sphere with a mouth) .Just before "warcraft III particle system" they write :

"With the death animation, we need this unit to just disappear. In the track view, add a visibility track to the root bone. Make sure it is an On/Off controller type. Add a key to turn it off at the first 5 frames of the death sequence. (Figure 15) We will add a paricle effect to this sequence in the next step."


But 4 me it's just impossible to add a visibility track, or to make sure it is a on/off controller type...... so i'm blocked and if anyone knows how to do it plz help me. i have 3dsmax 4(not5) and here is a screen of the track view i have : compare it with the screen of the tut, it's the same but there is the damnit visibilty track!!!! S.O.S heeeeeeelp me!!

well,

graph editors => track views => new track views

select your mesh, click on little eye (1 in my screenshot) a visibility track would appear, now select the visibility track, click on green triangle (2) (assign controller), select on/off controller.

now you can add keys to set the visibilty.
