oh, this is just my first skin. its not nearly done. its just the cape. the model is jaina. i was just showin it to a friend for now.

ok here is a better shot. keep in mind i JUST started. no shading has been done at all. this is my FIRST skin EVER.

shading isnt that hard - just use the dodge and burn tool on ur skin. My first skin had shading, so go ahead and try it.

U should consider getting warcraft3 viewer for screenshots. The new screenshot is too zoomed out for us to see it clearly.

From what i can see (isnt much) its pretty good for a first skin.

Thnx for the help Saik. I decided to change the colors a bit. I have still not added shadeing but i plan to soon. I also changed the color of her staff and made the saphire a ruby. plz tell me if you think its good or not

looks good for a first, and the fact that ur first skin is freehand is good too. Just continue doing freehand :D I won't give my full comment before u post the shaded version.

Here is my char. WITH shadeing, although i think i did it completely wrong cause i cant see much of a diff. maybe the colors i used (black and white) dont shade well. I used dodge and burn like i was told. hmmmm...... o well

when shading use these brush sizes:

2 7 and 13

and opacity 23%, sometimes you can use 11% for touchup

try to shade again with that in mind, it's good for a first.

If you can't zoom in far enough to get detail, then go into the unit editor on the World Editor, and set her size 4 times bigger or so.
