S K I E S of Erinquoth INTRODUCTION: Skies of Erinquoth is based on the 3289589235 incomplete maps I've ever done (including the ones that have been deleted by computer problems). It is basically a turn-based RPG packed with linking-maps, nice terrain, and hours of fun (predicted). GAMEPLAY: There will be more than 20 linking-maps to go through, including MASSIVE cities, dungeons, forests, and a whole lot more. You walk around, and you encounter foreign beasts to fight! The turn-based system IS finished. Like TKoD, the turn-based system consists of a merchant-buying system, but the key difference is that TKoD is an ACTION-TURN BASED, while mine is just a normal turn-based. Why? ...because TKoD staff is better than me in triggering 8)) STORY: Many of my friends will help my story out, but then again, we just like to have revenge ://// See, for every person you see in the game, it's a real-life friend! This includes Taylor the Bum, which is a battle-dummy :ggani: So far, my friend suggests an extremely easy boss at the end, and only until you unlocked all the secrets in the game do you see the ULTIMATE boss. CHARACTERS: Party members include: Alex: The main character, and also my real name. Treat him nicely! He specializes in defense for the party, as well as negative status for enemies. STARTING SKILL: Defiance - +3 armour to all party members Ryan: Experienced healer, with an advantage versus magical enemies. However, he is very fragile to melee attacks! STARTING SKILL: Healing Spark - Heals 30-60 HP to a single party member. Simon: Vindrago Barracks' most experienced swordsman. He specializes in the art of swords and can strike in huge damage intervals. However, what he has offense comes back in defense, as he is extremely weak. STARTING SKILL: Charge-up - A vicious slash that does +50% damage. Will this RPG want you to come back for more?: Yes, as said, it has lots of secrets, including getting ALL the summons (I want you to guess the last summon), trophies you win from games, and much, much more. MINI-GAMES: So far, these are the ones I'm including: HORA RACING: Basically HORSE racing, but in my world, it's HORA :ggani: . You have to BUY a Hora first, and you must train it wisely (you can only train when you go back to the main town). BATTLE ROYALE: In the first city, there's a colosseum where you go to another map if you accept the challange. Then, you start fighting with Taylor the Bum (LOL), then go up to fight the KING! The prize is a trophy, and secret things I'm not telling you. AREAS: These are the areas I'm revealing that you will explore!: Vindrago City: Home of the Whopper! I mean, COLOSSEUM! You start in this town, and consists of many mini-games. Aeon Forest: First area you visit, south of Vindrago City. Very easy to beat, but you must beat it. Ryan's Sanctuary: Ryan's my real friend, so I made a temple for him! It's a friendly "town" where you can heal and buy limited magic items! Cavern of the Ku'talze: Medium difficulty, but very hard to find an exit. Huge maze! ENEMIES: Here are some enemies you may encounter: Taylor the Bum: FREE KILLING! Aeon Beast: Weak attacker, but heals party with spells. Aeon Wolf: Extremely high maximum damage, low minimum damage attacker! WATCH OUT! Aeon Salamander: Magic attack that does consistant damage! Why you should play this...: Here are some reasons: 1. I am not allowed to cancel this, as my friends are going to eat me alive (literally) 2. TKoD beats this, but I still think it's the roxxors!!11 3. Gameplay that will want you to quit playing FFX2! 4. Terrain that you wish you haven't left your computer! 5. HOURS AND HOURS of gameplay, with top-secret areas where you get top-secret stuff! 6. Remember, last boss is unlocked AFTER you get those things! 7. LINKING-MAPS! CONCLUSION: Wait for screenshots! I am extremely busy with my homework and such, so I'll say give me a few days or so. |

Screenshot 1: Vindrago City in World Map form... DESCRIPTION: Vindrago City is located in lowlands of northwest of Aeon Island. It is the most royal city on Aeon Island, meaning it is well protected by the government. Everyone who is rich lives there, and soldiers who drop by occasionally. The screnery is wonderful, as going to be shown in the next few screenshots. |

I have returned to the boards. But now on topic. Those pictures are really nice you know. Keep that up and you'll have a really good map. Did you state weather this was multi or single? I don't think you could make a turn based battle multi-player so I'm guessing single player. Are you going to make it like a MMORPG single player version or something, because with the number of areas and the quality of them, that may take a while. The status bar with the abilities and things looks a bit misplaced, mostly because the hero symbol is overlapping it. Other then that it looks really good. I think you have a quality map here. |
