I'm trying to think of abilities for a Vampire hero. Not just your bat-suck-spawn vampire, but one with powers of mind control over animals and dark magic. Right now I've got: Transpossession The Vampire temporarily summons a random beast with power relative to his level, and takes control of it. But the strain on the mind of controling two bodies causes the Vampire to slip into a coma while he controls the beast. Level 1: Random beasts: Dog, spider, rat, cat Level 2: Random beasts: Wolf, tarantula, wolverine, wildcat Level 3: Random beasts: Bear, giant spider, hyena, puma Creatures of the Night Gathering all his fel power, the Vampire rises into the air and summons hordes of bats, wolves, rats, wildcats, vermin other dark creatures. Masses of fog and mist shroud the Vampire and his newly formed legion as they assault their enemies. This spell doesn't wear off. All the creatures burn away and the Vampire falls and is damaged because of sunlight. The spell invokes 20 seconds of darkness, but the player can combo it with other spells and items that bring about night. Used at night, this spell rules. Level 1: Does what it says on the box Children of Darkness After defeating his enemies, the Vampire brings them back as cruel, undead, mockeries of themselves, but the strain on the vampire is so great that he uses up a considerable amount of mana. The vampire can have only 5 such spawn at any one time. Level 1: 75% mana used Level 2: 50% mana used Level 3: 25% mana used ---------------
Now I need two more abilities. Any suggestions? |

Infectous Bite- The vamipire assaults his target with a rabid bite. The unit slowly starts to die, and if the effect is not cured when the unit dies, it becomes a lesser vampier that serves the biter. level1- 150 mana, 10dmg/sec level2- 125 mana, 15dmg/sec level3- 100 mana, 20dmg/sec |

Legendary Pain (Ultimate) Standing tall, a silent wisper lurks into the caster's body. Feeding on this darkness, the caster becomes enraged with blackness and unleashes it in a brutal spree of death and massacre. (Stats up, dmg up, speed up) During this time, he absorbs the souls of his victims and bottles them into an abyss of screaming misery. (Rage thing lasts 20-30 seconds, calculates damage done, combines) The undying abyss is then hailed around in brilliant novas and strikes down those unlucky to be in the way. (damages those around with damage done on the rage thingy) Madness enters those he slays and their lifestream converts into a black essence of which the caster feeds upon. (Life automatically 100%, mana 100%) Ok, so this spell is a little (if by a little I mean alot) powerful, but it's effects are cinematic. Remember to add the special effects, of course! |

Eyes of Evil: Makes enemy units run for a duration that increases with level, should have low cooldown and high mana. |

I could have sworn there was already a spell like this. Maybe I'm just thinking too much about DiabloII's necromancer/barb |

If there isn't one in the game, I'm sure someone made a custom version. Maybe make the unit just sit there, as if mezmerized. |

its funny that someone should mention that spell because I have currently finished one for the Gathering of the Spell makers thread. (eyes of evil) |

What are? Eyes of evil? My version or Narwanza's? |

I think he was reffering to my or Nar's spells. My spell is more of a cinematic 'in the moment' spell. |
