I have started a similar thread in the Map Development forums(here), but on advice from replies there, I am posting this here. This is sort of like the spell creation threads, except it will probably be less 'open'. Requests: If you are looking for a certain type of terrain for your map, post it here. The format should be: Tileset, Dimensions, What you want in the area. ex: Village Fall, 5 large grid spaces by 4 large grid spaces, river with fishing village and overlooking cliff. Terrainers: When someone posts a request, post that you will fill it. Once it has been filled (by making the requested terrain in a small .w3x or .w3m), post the file here (unless the requester specifically asks you to send it privately). It would probably be a good idea to show a small screenshot of a sample of your work, so that the requester knows what theyre getting. This will keep all of our maps diverse, unique and beautiful and generally improve the community's maps and terrain/doodadding skills. So post away, and terrainers: Don't forget customized doodads! ..Making the first request here: Village Fall, 5 large grid tiles by 6 large grid tiles, dirty human pig-farming village I'm also prepared to make terrain, and two samples of my work are here and here. |
