Is there a way to make an upgrade a unit requirement?

This would proably involve triggers but is there a way i can make units and maybe buildings that need a certain upgrade in order to be built? If so it'd be great to post the triggers or post a very short 5-step tutorial

In the World Editor you can set a unit's requirements to an upgrade so presumably you can in SLK too, sorry I'm not more help it's been a while since I did SLK editing :////

Put the upgrade code instead of a unit code? I dunno sorry :-/

hooray i figured out how to do it, also does anyone know how to by selecting an upgrade it lets you not be able to upgrade anymore?

That is automatic. An upgrade disappears once it has been researched.

no you didn't understand
heres what i want
building A
has four upgrades it can reasearch (none of them change the building)
Upgrade 1
Upgrade 2
Upgrade 3
Upgrade 4

now i want it so when you reasearch lets say Upgrade 1 it doesn't allow you to reasearch upgrade 2 upgrade 3 or upgrade 4 at any building a's. But it needs to work with any/all of the upgrades
