New Projects

We currently have way too many projects as is, so from this point on, besides a few that are already going to be hosted, no new projects will be accepted unless they are complete or near completion. Thats about 90%. This is to help reduce the amount of projects that just take up space.

Also, if you have a project you want to submit for hosting, send it to [email protected] and not via pm. I don't check my pms regularly.

Finally. That will weed out those projects that die in one day because they have no modeller.

Its a good Idea.. no more newb projects... and what about those newb projects already hosted?

Hopefully some of the non-progressing mods will slowly fade away and they will change this requirement, because this kills all chance of getting any fresh new mods in development which is unfortunate.

Yes, unfortunately after spending some time recruiting for my mod in the Campaign Gathering forum.. I am thinking it's good, too. The number of mods with potential are drowned out by the swarms and hordes of mod ideas that have either been done or are a person's first attempt at modding.

That or someone starting a mod and expecting everyone else to do all the work which seems to be common there. :nono:

I agree with this decision, excedpt you might want to perhaps make the rules more articulate: For example, the main reason why most mods die is they have no modeler. I think if a mod is started and has a good amount of models done (or if they have a modeler) you should perhaps give them a chance. (Now, if any of u read my recent post, you'll know that im looking to get my mod hosted Halo: Lost Prophecy, but i am not asking to get hosted by exception to this rule or anything, i will wait out the process of getting rid of mods without modelers unless their is some exception [BTW, if u want to c my post, which shows wut i have done, its under Gate Craft Mod, which i will be animating for). Maybe should allow them to submit their mod and evaluate what they have over a few days to c wut pace they move at, etc, Just a suggestion. :D
