I Need an INTRODUCTION to modeling

I got 3ds max 4.2, but i'm clueless with it! i don't get on bit of it. Could someone explain the nonesense to me like views, how to edit stuff, how to make stuff like weapons....

In order to really get started in a modeling program, you need to get used to the basics. And to do that I would suggest going over to www.3dbuzz.com. Register, then go to the download section on the left, and get the 3ds max videos. I think they are for 3dsmax 5 now, but they will still be helpful to you.

Thats how I got started, good luck

Oxalic, check the tutorials; I wrote a really simple one as an intro to model editing, using 3dsmax.

Give that a shot.

yeah, just work through some of the beginning tutorials, till u get a feel for how to navigate the app, and maybe some basic modeling tecniques, then PM me if u have trouble
