Stupid reply newbie, actually, from the distance in game, it looks sort of neat. But zoomed in, or in the portrait, it doesn't look so good :-/. Looks like airbrush? |

Actually, you never said what you think... -EDIT- Kind of neat armor for a first, but the face looks plain retarded, try experimenting with the face a little to get it right. |

the lines are too dark and thick on the armor, try reading the screenshot sticky first, and second, re-do him from scratch again; I sorta taught a friend how to dodge/burn the exact same way, made him redo it four times, now hes good! Try using a 2pix midtones 23% burn for the lines/definitions, a 7-13 pix midtones 23% for shadows, and a 6-13 pix 13-23% midtones dodge for highlights. Also, after you get it down, repeadedly run the dodge at 50 pix and then burn at 50pix until the uncolored part looks metal-ish, and make it brighter next time. A great start, but as everyone else has said, the face looks retarded... dh faces are tough as hell tho. |
