Can someone make this sound smaller.

Can someone make this mp3 smaller. I want the song to be from 0:00 to 0:26. The original file is about 43 seconds long and like 500 kb. I want to shorten it and put it as the short cinematic song. The cinematic in my map is about 30 seconds and will only use somewhat like 15 seconds or so. The file doesn't have to be faded.
