Wings3D is free and good -> Download here

3DS Max is better, but not free.

milkshape is the greatest free program i can point you to, it is a very easy program to learn, and delivers good results if you use it right. After you think you are ready, get 3dsmax student version, which is only 399 instead of the 4999 for the professinal version. and if you want to get things *for free* go to some warez site and ask around, this is not a warez site and will never be, so whenever you feel like talking about warez, do it elswhere!

explain to me how you ever got a moderator job, and i didn't :S!?!? Warez is not alloud on wc3, and you're supposed to back that up, not go with it :D Gmax is a preety great program, but i still suggest milkshape to start you off in the 3d world

yeah me too, but, if you use milkshap and get good at it, then dont switch to Gmax/3dsMax, because, MS3D uses verticies to model, Gmax uses primitives or splines (edges) as the basis, then you work from there.

P.S Was that a threat Proudclod?!? :P
