How do you use a skin? (Please reply)

Okay, I am new at using mods and skins, etc., so could someone please explain to me how to use them. I am totally lost. I use a skin someone here made as an example: TechKnightPac. How do I use it? Please reply. Thank you.

You need some files and stuff, and then import it - I've actually forgotten, I haven't skinned for months :bgrun:.
