I was thinking i might begin spell making however i need to know, compared to basic skinning how hard is it (1-10 , skinning being 5)and what programs would you advise.
I'd give spell making a 2, and all you have to do is use TFT WE and use the Ability editor. If you really want to go in-depth, you could use a spreadsheet editor and directly edit the spells, which I would rate as a 4 in hardness.
that is unless you want cool spells and new ones like in TFG, and other games which requires precise triggers, dummy units and possibly custom text. So if it can range from a 2-10 depending what you want to do, and how good at balancing you are
