Clifftexture problem

I have a problem with my clifftextures. Whenever i override an clifftexture with my own it never loads when i open the WE. The texture that shows up in the WE is the standard green grass. Not my overwritten cityscape overwritten texture.
The strange thing is that the clifftexture works if i override the standard green grass.

Does anyone have any idea about what im doing wrong?

What are the exact paths you're using? I think cliffs should be ReplaceableTextures\Cliffs\Cliff1.blp or
ReplaceableTextures\Cliffs\Cliff0.blp, even those aren't valid paths for any existing textures, and I know this confused quite a few people, including me.

I use those paths. But what i dont get is how overriding the greengrass texture works but not cityscape.

K, just making sure. I just reread your post:

Huh? You get the grass texture actually on the cliff? Or is that a typo? If not, it sounds *very* strange. Have you tried the map ingame to see if the texture works then? I know WE sometimes displays cliffs and tiles incorrectly, but I'm not sure how and when. Anyways, if that is the case, closing WE and then loading the map directly might make it show, though I doubt it.

Not on the cliff but the combination of the standard cliff with its corresponding green grass.
Ill test some more things. Like stuffing it in the patch.mpq file.
