Texporting help

I made a model and its made up of more than 1 shape and when I texport and select the model it only slects 1 shape so I need to do each peice singly is there a way to create all the shapes 1 shape so I can skin the model all in 1?

just textport each part, then put them onto one 512x512 or whatever size image, then change the UVW coordinates so that each piece fits its part on the UVW Map

if you want, u can make all of the objects one object by using the "Attach" command under Udit Mesh/Poly/Patch, etc.

yeah, but that makes it harder to animate

ok, well, it is a little more difficult to animate, unless you are really good with rigging, envilopes, vertex painted weights, etc........ but whatever. lol
