is it possible to make a map COMPLETELY FLAT (no heights) by adding/replacing/editing files in the w3m? cos i opened my map in W3ZMapEdit, edited a little terrain, and the editor put random heights in it. i do not want the heights.

Did you start new map and it had it with random heights or did you open one that was all flat and it added random height when you saved it or opened it?

Their is a Checkbox in the Create New Map dialog that says, "Random height field" make sure it is unchecked.

Also your Map editor should not add random height to a map that has already been saved, unless you did something to cause that.

Hope that helps.

It is most likely that the problem is then with W3ZMapEdit, I don't use that. Talk to Zepir about it then. You can probably catch him in th chat.
