Ok...Ive been working hard to make a new RPG...with the normal world editor and with no custom objects or downloads of any kind. Its been a while thats its been doing this...And I havent been able to get into my map for a few days now..It only happens when I try to load my own map, but doesnt seem to effect others. So what can I do to fix the following error message that comes up....

********
worldedit
********

This application has encountered a critical error:

Not enough storage is available to process this command.

Program: C:\etc etc my location for the worldedit.exe
Object: CustomObjectField (.?AUCustomObjectField@@)

Press OK to terminate the application.
*********

This is all I get when I try to load my map...Any suggestions?

Does the error happen when you:

1. Click to open the map
2. While the map is loading
3. After the map is open
4. When you click to open another module (like Object Editor)

And do you have ANY other modules open besides the terrain editor when you open your map?

Sounds like the "Commoner" & "Critter" bug, easy but time consuming to fix. Happens if you have ANY Units/Abilities/Upgrades race set to commoner or critter.

It happens in the last stages of loading my map, after I press open. Right before it would be put to the screen, it gives me an error and flips me off. Whats a guy to do? :////

The storage part sounds like you need more space or memory or something. Try clearing out some old warez that you don't use anymore.

I dunno, maybe it needs more memory...but I run it alone with 512mb of ram and 40 gigs open on my harddrive....So its even more complicated...Nothing else has trouble running, at all, by the way...

If you want, I'll see if I can fix the map. Send it to the extprotect email address (at the link in my sig) if you want me to try.

Hrmm, the map opens fine on my PC, but it does use a lot of RAM (125MB)
Can't really fix it since it works for me =-/ Sorry

Well its good news considering it works for someone. There must be something wrong with the WE crack I use (to load it up faster).....But it happened on v1.14...as well as v1.14b. I cant load it off my CD anymore, it just assumes its in anyways. So what should my next step be?

You should probably reinstall warcraft.
Instead of using a crack, use just about any cd burning software to make an image of the CD on your hard drive, and get daemon tools to make windows think the image is a real drive (google to find it)

yes, this happened to me too.

Basicly, i was moving, and i could not unpack my wc3 cd, but at that time 1.13 had arrived, and i was interested about the new patch, so i installed it, and found a crack for the world-edit somewhere, but only some days later i found out that it often gave me a error when saving, and sometimes when opening maps too. I also noticed some other stuff messed-up/missing, f.ex. the top-left program-icon was just "white" and other stuff like that.

So i quickly fixed it by replacing the crack with my backed up original, and virtualized my wc3 cd with daemon toolz
