Guest | Hi there everyone! I've recently compiled a number of skins for my campaign, and to my mind they look not very bad :) (frankly speaking, I like them very much :)) Here they are: http://www.samods.com/~staffaccount/.../thp/skins.jpg 1)Orc Berserker hero (Kuzag). Looks like he's just gone postal :) 2)Knight hero (Ludwig von Bauerhofen). Team colors removed, armor given a more realistic look. 3)Knight hero, mounted version. A deep conversion of Undead Arthas. 4)Started as Khadgar, but now it's just a Human Mage. 5)Inquisitor (Maximillian Taylor). 6)Elven Princess hero (Dayoma). Well, she looks like an addict :) 7)Various spell icons. 8)Various unit\hero icons. 9)Human Archer. 10)Sorceress hero (Tyonne). Mmm, just peachy! 11)Priest's mantle remix. 12)Burning Archer. Now it's really *burning* ! 13),14)Skeletons remade. They look now really rotten and creepy! I especially like Skeleton Warrior's rusty scimitar. 15)Zombie. I borrowed rotten flesh textures from RtcW, and now Zombie looks much more realistic than the old one. 16)Barbarian hero (Siegfred). His portrait is a simple Paladin remix, while his ingame model is based on Grom. 17)Lich. Used some outfit elements of PencilGod's Lich, but his face is done by myself and I like it very much :P 18)Mounted Brigand. Warlord ingame model and Footman portrait. ??)Druid of the Talon remix in the center of the pic, forgot to give him a number. It's a High Elven Sorcerer. That's it. Please tell me which of my skins you liked, and which are a waste of time :) P.S. I'll probably release Archer, Mage and the Undead sometime. |

#18's a bit too dark. Also, you stole my idea of using different portraits. Now I'll look unorigional! :( Stop this mind reading this instant! :p |

Guest | Love a lot of the skins, mainly the berserkers, sorc, and skeleton warriors. The icons are also pretty damn cool, you've got a nice dramatic feel to some of em. Many of the faces are also well done, but the sorc doesn't look like the portrait is any different. So whens the campaign going to be released? Quote:
As for that, if you take something (well first off you should ASK before you even do it), you should give credit whether people can see it or not. I figured you would when you credited RtCW, but completely stealing something from one of anyones skins is pretty low. You've got a lot of great work here, but skin snatching isn't cool :nono: |

No idea :-) Perhaps not very soon. I've done these skins, two missions and Lich's voice (used the same effects as for Zerg Cerebrate BTW) so far. However, there is much to be done about abilities and spells. Quote:
Okay, okay, easy there! I did not intend to steal anything from Maverick2000, I just forgot to give him credit. Hey, I credited not only RtCW, but also PencilGod, though I only borrowed one little piece (belt) from his Lich skin. Am I that much evil? :-) But anyway, I think I should beg Maverick2000's pardon. Maverick, I'm sorry for this :-) BTW, speaking about giving credit... I also forgot to credit WH: Dark Omen (used some artwork for Berserker icon) and Blood (skeletons on Lightning Shock anmd Incineration icons). That's all :-) The rest is done by me and Blizzard Entertainment (original textures, of course). |

My mistake heh, and sorry about being hostile, think it was all the pent up annoyance of the pure recolors that were getting to me. :ggani: I think mav will probably forgive you, being credited now, hell he seemed to react fine enough before =) |
