A picture I started and will likely never finish. It's concept art for Dark Conquest. The unit is called the Unwilling Disciple. He's basically just a dude hanging from a marionette/puppet style thingy, and is forced to fight battles he doesn't want to. Of course the pic doesn't show this... but it's cool anyway, so I thought I'd show it off. He's skinned kuz he's a minion of the Tormentor, a Satyr hero who delights in torture. Enjoy. Sheyd. |

What a cool concept. Evil guy controling people to fight battles KEWL!, but where is the satyr hero guy. I love twisted concepts like this. If you want I can make a concept drawing of it , because i really like the concept =). |

EDIT: p.s. - Necrons kick ***! :D (But Tyranids are cooler 8)) ) kimchi man: The Satyr hero won't need any concept art kuz the model is already finished and I'm now working on the skin. You can see the model here: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/s...threadid=42851 The post is pretty recent so you can still reply/rate if you like. But if you want to just do a picture of him anyway, just for fun, that'd be great! even just a sketch, I can make it a loading screen or something (full creds of course). But if you do want to, don't go by the model, wait till I can explain or show you the skin. I love your work btw. If you don't want to bother with it, I don't blame you. I couldn't even bring myself to spend the time to finish this concept art. |

1)ark blood: are you talking about this concept art or the Tormentor? I hope you're still talking about the Tormentor, it'd suck if 2 of my guys ended up being similar to those action figures, even I would start questioning my originality... and that's just wrong. I'm going to go find pics of em now. brb with an edit. EDIT: yeah, I looked at all of those, they're fricken kewl, I might just have to collect them. The feel and theme of them are more or less exactly what I'm going for. I said in the model gallery post of mine that the Tormentor was inspired by PinHead from Hellraiser, and these guys you've shown me are very similar. Same kind of leather bondage looking clothing. So, to answer your question, no, I didn't get the idea from anywhere but my mind, since I hadn't seen those before. But they are similar, yes. |
