Due to my slow... incredibly slow internet connection at the time I can't download the patch for wc3, I get booted at about 12%... Until I get dsl, in a few weeks I hope, I need some editor tools that will work with 1.07 patch. If you know of any useful programs that run with this patch please attatch them here. Thanks to anyone who takes pity on me and helps me out! |

I can only tell you to not start working on anything with 1.07. It might works, if you use standard WE features. Everything like Terrain editing, Object editing, Triggers,... should work. Advanced tools should be used with care. UMSWE 4.0 was designed for 1.12. I have never tested that, but it should be compatible with 1.07. Get it at http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/s...threadid=30679. Don't forget to download the hotfix. Generic WC3 tools like a texture converter (War3Viewer) should work too. About the patch: Use a download manager and download the stand-alone patch (the EXE file). You can download each days some percent. After a few days you have got it. It's "only" 28 MB (I downloaded it with 56k too). |
